Red Ribbon Week Non-Perishable Supply Drive (October 21st-November 1st)
Abner Creek Academy will be collecting non-perishable goods that will be donated to local and neighboring food banks for distribution to the needy. Below is a list of what we will be accepting:
Non-perishable foods: Peanut butter, jelly, canned meats and soups, canned fruit, canned vegetables, boxed pasta, pasta sauce, cereal, rice, canned or powdered milk
Hand warmers
Bottled Water
Hand Sanitizer
Gloves
Hats
Gallon size Zip-lock Bags
Baby Wipes
Paper Towels
New/Gently used blankets
Flashlights with batteries
Trash bags
Toilet Paper

Mrs. West’s 4th grade math classes participated in an activity called “Scoot” where they scooted from task card to card practicing multiplying by 10s, 100s, and 1000s. 💙💚

Our PTO challenged our students to raise 💲3️⃣0️⃣,0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ and they exceeded that Boosterthon Dancefit 🕺🏼 goal! With reaching the goal, our amazing Gator 🐊 Admin were able to complete their challenge 💪🏽 today! 😂The Gator (Mrs. Fowler) won the competition! We are always excited to have the 💙Byrnes Rebels❤️ visit! We loved having members of the football 🏈 team greeting students and opening car 🚗 doors this morning! Go Rebels - beat Gaffney!! 🎉
Ms. Crow and Mrs. Weaver’s K5 class had a day of apple fun. 🍏 They predicted whether red, green or yellow apples sink ⬇️ or float ⬆️ then tested their predictions. They also taste tested each color of apple and wrote their favorite. They collected data from the class and created a graph 📊 to display which apple most children liked. 🍎 and 🍏 were equal!
