Congratulations to our Terrific Kid of the Year, Alex Mialik! Alex is a fourth grader who loves math and recess. He enjoys playing soccer and is looking forward to playing flag football. He is a thoughtful, responsible, and bright student. He shows kindness to all and seeks out opportunities to help. Alex shows what it takes to be a terrific kid every day. We are so proud of you, Alex!

Just a reminder for K5 Families! A photographer from Strawbridge Studios will be at RRES on Tuesday, April 23 to photograph your student's Cap & Gown pictures. Mark your calendar for TWO big events on ONE special night! Our STEM Family Night and Art Show will be held together on Thursday, May 2 from 5:30 PM- 7:30 PM. There will be door prizes, STEM activities and games, student artwork for sale, and food trucks on site!

Our Beanstack minutes are adding up. 211,197 minutes since we kicked off the program in mid-February!

Congratulations to our very own Lorie Goode, who was named District Five Teacher of the Year for 2024-25! The exciting news was revealed in a surprise announcement by Dr. Gary this morning. Mrs. Goode first began her career in the classroom in 1993, and has been teaching art at River Ridge since 2007. We are so proud of her!

Join us for a noteworthy evening of talented first graders! First grade will perform a musical program on April 18 at 6:00pm.

Join us for a special drop in event, our Donuts with Grown-ups! Please note there is a limit of 2 grown-ups per student. Here's the schedule per grade level: Kindergarten, K4, and PCD - Thursday, April 25 Grade 1 - Monday, April 29 Grade 2 - Tuesday, April 30 Grade 3 - Wednesday, May 1 Grade 4 - Thursday, May 2 The events will be in our Cafeteria from 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM each morning.

Happy First Day of Spring Break! Our Spring Break continues from today to Friday, April 5th. Students will not return to the building until Tuesday, April 9th, due to the eLearning Day on Monday, April 8th.

Due to the projected weather this week, we have decided to reschedule Field Day to April 26th. We will be doing all grade levels in one day. Thank you for your understanding!

We are thrilled to announce that River Ridge has been recognized as a Reading Culture Trailblazer school by Beanstack. The award is granted to schools that gain over 75% participation in Beanstack each school year. Our school has achieved this milestone, and Beanstack believes we’re using the program effectively to build a culture of reading in our school community. Thanks to everyone for their tremendous support of this new program!
