Wellford Academy is proud to introduce its newest leadership initiative: the Multilingual Ambassador Program. This program is designed to spotlight and empower a select group of our multilingual learners by giving them meaningful opportunities to serve as leaders within our school community.
The Multilingual Ambassador Program held its first meeting this week, bringing together students who will play an important role in fostering connection and belonging at Wellford. These ambassadors will help welcome new students and families, assist with simple greetings or translations, and represent Wellford Academy at various multilingual events throughout the district.
By elevating students who speak multiple languages, the program not only celebrates linguistic diversity but also encourages leadership, empathy, and cultural pride. The goal is to ensure that every student and family feels seen, supported, and included from the moment they join the Wolfpack.
“We’re excited to provide this opportunity for our multilingual students to shine,” said school staff coordinating the program. “Their skills and perspectives make our school stronger, and this program allows them to share that strength with others.”
