CogAT Testing begins tomorrow for 2nd Grade and continues through Thursday. Tonight, focus entirely on keeping your child calm, rested, and confident.
Tips for each evening before testing include:
• Maintain normal routines: Keep dinner light, healthy, and familiar, and let your child wind down with a relaxing, joyful activity like reading or playing quietly.
• Prioritize early sleep: Help your child get a full, uninterrupted night of rest so their brain is sharp for memory, focus, and problem-solving.
• Prepare logistics ahead: Lay out comfortable clothes, pack a healthy snack or water bottle if allowed, and organize school bags the night before to prevent a rushed morning.
• Keep a positive mindset: Remind your child that the CogAT is just an opportunity to show how they think, and that you are proud of their effort no matter
