Campus Traffic Flow:The first few days of school always bring some very heavy traffic and delays. Things will improve if we work together but, please be patient and always follow designated traffic flow patterns on the Byrnes High School campus.
Car Rider Line: Parents who are dropping students off in AM and picking students up in PM must use Perimeter Road with an entrance off of N Danzler/Groce Road. This is the CAR LINE and the only place where students enter/exit parent vehicles. Students should NEVER be dropped off in any of the student or staff parking lots or in any of the roadways. Car riders should enter/exit the school building each day using the Schofield gym lobby.
Bus Loop: Only Spartanburg School District Five school buses are allowed in the bus loop, which comes off of E Main Street/Hwy 290--This is the new bus loop. Students will depart/load buses in this area only. Bus riders should enter/exit the school building each day using the Rebel Café entrance.
Senior Parking Lot: Registered drivers with a GREY (grade 12) or ORANGE (Early Grads) hang tag should ENTER the Senior lot off of N Danzler/Groce Road and EXIT the Senior lot off E Main Street/Hwy 290. Student drivers in the Senior lot should enter/exit the school building each day using the Rebel Café entrance.
Underclassmen Parking Lot: Registered drivers with a PURPLE hang tag should enter the underclassmen parking lot off of N Danzler/Groce Road. Student drivers in the underclassmen lot should enter/exit the school building each day using the AFJROTC entrance.
Front Drive: Visitors to our school should enter off E Main Street/Hwy 290--This is the new front drive. Exiting traffic must use a RIGHT TURN out onto N Danzler/Groce Road. The front drive is only for our school visitors and delivery services--Students should NEVER be dropped off or picked up in the front drive.
