Today students in Mrs. Linkous' social studies classes started reviewing for a unit test by playing Quizlet Live "grudge match edition". Students had to work together to find answers to questions from their Cornell notes. Then, they received points based on their place and could "keep, steal, or give" them away (without holding a grudge)! Even Mrs. Quinby got in on the fun!

The Lady Wolves volleyball team delivered an absolutely incredible season! The girls worked tirelessly on the court and finished the year undefeated, never losing a single match. Their dedication didn’t stop there — they put in the same level of effort in the classroom, earning multiple athletic scholar awards across the team. Coach Jenna and Coach Montjoy could not be more proud. They are beyond grateful for the opportunity to celebrate our 2025 undefeated Lady Wolves volleyball team and all they have accomplished!

A small group of 6th, 7th, and 8th graders had the opportunity to meet with Senior Scientist Jesse Hsu through a virtual Discovery Education session. Jesse joined us from Delaware and shared his inspiring career journey to becoming a scientist. It was our first time using this platform, and it was exciting to see the kinds of connections we can make with professionals across the country!

📱📡 Mrs. Landon’s students became cell signal scientists! They learned how phones send and receive digital wireless signals through radio waves—then put their knowledge to the test. Students wrapped their phones in two different “mediums” (tin foil and paper towels) and called a neighbor to see what would happen. Spoiler alert: radio waves do not vibe with aluminum foil! 😆✨ It reflected or absorbed the waves, blocking the call completely. Hands-on learning + a little bit of tech magic = one awesome lesson! 🚀🔬

📡✨ Talk about a BLAST from the past! Mrs. Landon’s students have been diving into the world of analog vs. digital signals—and wow, have things changed! Wednesday they explored how everyday items have transformed over time to keep up with our increasingly digital world. From clunky classics to sleek modern tech, they got to see firsthand just how far we’ve come. 🚀🔊💻
Learning about waves + history = a pretty awesome combo! 📺➡️📲
