Ms. Dillingham’s class has been busy earning snowflakes by crushing their i-Ready and ALEKS lessons in their math class. Keep those snowflakes falling!

We want to recognize and celebrate our four all state choir students- Hudson, Evenessa, Josie and Jack. They were selected out of almost 1300 students back in the fall and have been working so hard to prepare their music. While the all state choir weekend needed to be cancelled for weather, we still want to celebrate their success and hard work!

Congrats to Keilan Franklin, Gavin Padgett, and Jay Holt who were chosen to play in the high school blitz middle school showcase bowl game. Congratulations also goes to Gavin Padgett who was selected as offensive lineman MVP! We are so proud of all three of you! GO WOLVES! 🐺

Come join the Wolfpack!

Mrs. Landon’s 8th graders have been busy thinking tilted. 🧠🌍
Today they created models to show how the tilt of the Earth causes our seasons—not our distance from the sun! ☀️➡️🍂❄️🌸
Hands-on learning, lightbulb moments, and lots of “ohhh that makes sense!” moments! 💡👏
Science in action! 🔬✨

Congratulations to the students who were chosen for our 2025- 2026 theater competition team! 🎭

A big thank you to Byrnes High School AFJROTC and RD Anderson Applied Technology Center for spending the morning with our 8th graders last week! 🐺✨ 8th Grade Transition Day helped students learn about next year’s opportunities—and the future is looking bright!

Mr. Watson’s 7TH and 8TH grade AVID classes spent the morning touring the Walmart Distribution Center in Wellford. They discussed transferable job skills, explored careers in the STEM, Manufacturing, Transportation, Logistics, and Business/Marketing career clusters. We are thankful for Mr. Lahitia Grant, Assistant GM and the GM Johnathan for allowing us to come.

Mrs. Sturgis’ scientists had a sweet time demonstrating the rock cycle today! 🍬
Using Starbursts, students started with sediments and transformed all the way into igneous rocks. 🪨

New year, new leaders of the pack! We are so proud of our 8th graders picked for January's awards. These students best exemplify what it means to be an Abner Creek wolf! 🐺❤️
