Summer is wrapping up, but we are still keeping up with your "Where In The World Is District Five" adventures! 🌎 Earlier this summer, several D5 students attended FCA Leadership Camp in Black Mountain, NC at the YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly. Brandt Vanderwarker (Florence Chapel 7th grade), Quaid Wyatt (DR Hill 7th grade,), Drew Long (BHS 10th grade), Will Coan (BHS 10th grade), Myles Covington (BHS 11th grade), & Caleb Massey (BHS 10th grade) all attended the trip and had a great time building leadership skills for their schools! 💯 Students heard from speaker Mo Isom Aiken, former Goalkeeper of the LSU women’s soccer team ⚽ and left equipped and empowered to know how to serve their campuses through FCA 🙌 #WeAreD5 #MyD5Summer

"Where In The World Is District Five" takes us to the City of Brotherly Love 🔔 and the home of chocolate today 🍫 It was a #D5Family affair for Sonia Burnett, and her daughter & granddaughter Jodi Mitchell and Reagan Mitchell, earlier this summer! 🌎 Sonia works in the special services department for the District Office, Jodi is a teacher at Beech Springs Intermediate School, and Reagan is a student at River Ridge Elementary School. The trio travelled to Philadelphia to see some history with the Liberty Bell and meet Rocky, then also spent time in Hershey, PA meeting (and eating) some real characters! 💯 Thanks for sharing! 👏 #WeAreD5

We're loving all of our "Where In The World Is District Five" adventures! 🛶💦☀️ The King family recently spent a week changing lives and building character at Camp Hope in Dahlonega, Georgia 🏕 Carolyn is a 6th grade teacher at Berry Shoals Intermediate, and son, Oliver, is a rising 10th grader at Byrnes High School. "Where In The World Is District Five" is BACK! 👏 Our students and staff have been busy this summer! The Goodlet family recently traveled out west to Yosemite National Park's Mariposa Grove in California 🌎 Check out Cole (rising K5), Londyn (rising 4th) and Riley (rising 6th) next to Yosemite's oldest giant sequoia tree 🌲 They believe it might exceed 3,000 years in age! 😲 Thanks for sharing Goodlet family, and keep those pictures coming #D5Family! #WeAreD5

Today's "Where In The World Is District Five" adventure is with the McDonald family! 🌍The McDonald's a true #D5Family, as mom, Lori, works at Berry Shoals Intermediate School, son Will is an incoming 1st year teacher at Florence Chapel Middle School, Michael is a recent #Classof2023 graduate from Byrnes High School, and youngest son Riley is an 11th grader there! 💙 The whole family just spent 2 weeks exploring Alberta, Canada.
