Wellford Academy recently celebrated a milestone moment as the first fifth grade class to complete their elementary journey at the school’s new campus graduated. This special group of students holds a unique place in the school’s history and has chosen to commemorate their time at Wellford in a meaningful and lasting way.
In a symbolic gesture, each fifth grade class planted a tree on the school grounds to represent their growth, unity, and the lasting impact they hope to leave behind. These trees, now rooted in the Wellford Academy landscape, serve as a living legacy of the students' time, achievements, and contributions to the school community.
Principal Bringer shared, “This graduating class has set a powerful example of leadership and pride. Their decision to plant trees not only beautifies our campus but also reflects their forward-thinking spirit and desire to give back.”
As the trees grow in the years ahead, they will stand as daily reminders of the first 5th grade class to walk the halls of the new Wellford Academy—and the foundation they have laid for those who follow.
We are proud of our fifth grade graduates and look forward to seeing all they will accomplish in the future. Once a Wolf, always a Wolf.
