Congratulations to Coach Ava Cogdill and our Lego Robotics team, the Panda-Bots, for winning a gold medal and the overall district competition trophy at the District Five Robotics Competition on Friday, April 25.
Students competed in four events, including a Rapid Build, a Robot Obstacle Course, a Team Interview, and the Submerged Game Board with Missions. Each event was timed and scored by judges.
River Ridge's team scored the most points out of all the elementary teams earning a gold medal for their performance and the District trophy for the top team scores.
The Panda-Bots team members are Jack Hill, Bently Keasler, Patrick Haith, Addaley Grace Aiken, Isabel Xiong, Quinn Whitaker, Emma Wells, Bennett Brock, Jaxson Hill, Kate Franseen, Sophia Crawford, Grady Powers, Makenzie Heller, and Thomas Barker. We are so proud of all of them!
