Byrnes High School's Class of 2023 took one final bow on Thursday, May 18, at Nixon Field. The packed crowd included thousands of family members, friends, and distinguished guests. Spartanburg District Five Superintendent Dr. Randall Gary greeted more than 600 graduates, as they walked across the stage to receive their diplomas. Principal Erin Greenway congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to continue to pursue their goals and dreams.
This impressive class includes 21 South Carolina Academic Honors Award Recipients, 53 honor graduates, and 66 Scholar Athlete graduates. Additionally, the Class of 2023 included 9 Scholars Academy graduates. Members of the Class of 2023 have received millions in scholarships to attend colleges and universities across the country!
