
After reviewing lab safety, students in Mrs. Uppole's class were given different scenarios to identify what protective gear was needed to safely perform a lab. Student teams then competed to see which group was the fastest at dressing up one member of their team as a scientist!




Last week, Mrs. Johnson had her students complete a “team building and measurements activity.” Lots of collaboration and fun!











This week, Ms. Dinger’s students were tasked with figuring out how to cut an index card so that they could fit inside it!

Mr. Wiant hosted the Class Olympics this week! They incorporated team building, writing, math, and lots of gold-medal fun. One of her students said, “I never expected my first week of Middle School to be like this!”

Interest meeting for Girls Wrestling!


The Alliance for a Healthier Generation has awarded Florence Chapel the title America’s Healthiest Schools for its role in supporting the physical, mental, and social-emotional health of students, staff, and families. The award program recognizes schools that implement best practices in nine topic areas related to supporting staff and student health.
The Safety Committee demonstrated best practices in supporting school health services. Incredible honor!
