🐾 Cougars Lead: Adopt-A-Cougar Mentoring Program

We are excited to grow our Adopt-A-Cougar mentoring program at Florence Chapel Middle School! This program connects students with caring teachers, families, and community members who want to invest in a student and help them succeed.

💙 What does being a mentor involve?
• Meeting with your student once a month
• Offering encouragement and support throughout the week
• Supporting your student in school and at extracurricular activities
• Bringing a small, packaged snack or breakfast/lunch item during monthly meetings
• Being a consistent, positive presence in your student’s life

The most important part is commitment. Our students look forward to these connections each week, and having a dependable mentor can make a powerful and lasting impact.

📚 Meet the Teacher is Almost Here! 🐾 We can’t wait to welcome our Cougar families for Meet the Teacher on Monday, August 3, from 2:00–6:00 PM! A few important reminders: 📍 Student IDs will NOT be distributed during Meet the Teacher. Students will receive their IDs from their homeroom teachers on the first day of school. 🚗 Car tags may be picked up in the Front Office during Meet the Teacher. 📢 Parent Information Session (Gym) • 3:00 PM • 5:45 PM This session is especially helpful for our rising 6th grade families, but all interested parents are welcome to attend! 🎶 Beginning Band Parent Meeting (Gym) 🕔 5:00 PM Parents of rising 6th grade students joining beginning band are encouraged to attend.
