Several 5th grade classes visited the Roper Mountain Science Center recently and learned all about conservation! ♻️🐝🐝

Cranberry Hall has been collecting socks for the month of October as part of our Socktober service learning project to benefit Middle Tyger Community Center. Adam Mokhtar, a student in Mrs. Jones' homeroom, brought in 420 pairs of socks to help this wonderful cause! There will be many warm feet this winter thanks to the generosity of this young man and his family!

This Friday, October 20th we are asking all students and staff to wear pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month!! Please join us in honoring those who have fought the good fight 💕#PINKOUTDAY

Congratulations to Jackson Lui for his successful audition for the Region 1 Honors Orchestra! Jackson placed 9th chair 1st violin in the 6-8 Orchestra, which is a huge accomplishment as a 6th grader. 🎻

Mrs. Ward's 6th grade math classes were "operating" in math yesterday. They performed 8 surgeries to solve expressions using the order of operations. ➗✖️➕➖ 🐝

Six of our amazing Berry Shoals cellists participated in Cellobration at Furman University on Saturday. They attended classes and rehearsals all day, and 130 cellists all played together at the concert. These awesome cellists learned a lot and had a great time!

Who likes butter? Well Mrs. Mash’s class made butter today to model Perseverance and also integrating Westward Expansion and what the pioneers had to do in the 1800s!!

Mrs. Stewart's 6th Grade classes participated in a "Book Tasting" as they reviewed fiction and nonfiction topics this week.

Science students in 6th grade tested their precision and ability to follow directions during The Rainbow Lab last week. They created the colors of the rainbow by mixing exact measurements of primary colored water.
