The 2020-2021 dress code has had a modification. We are notifying you now of the change so you have time over the summer to ensure your child has appropriate clothing items for the school setting and meeting the new dress code expectation. All clothing should extend beyond the mid-thigh when the shoulders are relaxed. Clothing is not limited to but may include the following: shorts, skirts, dresses, holes in jeans, and tops for form-fitting pants/shorts/leggings. Please refer to the handbook for school expectations about other dress code expectations and discipline. We hope the communication before the school year will help families as they purchase clothing over the summer. -

Student Council collects reward points for My Coke Rewards. This program provides financial donations for schools who collect points from the participating brands. The Council is asking anyone who drinks Coke or other participating brand products to bring in the caps or codes located on the packaging. This is not a fundraiser for the Student Council but rather a project to benefit all of Byrnes High School. Visitors may drop off the rewards in the front lobby and students may give them to their teacher.
