A special education teacher at Byrnes Freshman Academy is in the national spotlight for her efforts in the classroom!  Katrina Copeland was one of 100 educators across the country who were highlighted by the Council for Exceptional Children.  The organization is the largest professional organization dedicated to improving the success of children and youth with disabilities.

As part of a celebration of their 100 year history, CEC featured 100 special education teachers across the United States and what they're each doing to support students with disabilities.
