SC School Report Cards Released

SC School report card logo On November 29, 2018, the SC Department of Education released new district and school report cards as part of the new merged state and federal accountability system.  The report cards, part of an effort in conjunction with the South Carolina Education Oversight Committee, reflect school and district performance during the 2017-18 school year.  They are based on indicators ranging from academic achievement and graduation rate, to school quality, school safety, and whether students are "college and career ready".

100% of District Five schools were rated Excellent, Good, or Average, meaning they "meet or exceed" the criteria used to ensure students meet the Profile of the SC Graduate.
