Ms. McCullough’s 7th grade students worked collaboratively to put story events in the correct order during a Plot Sort Activity! Students used their knowledge of plot structure to discuss, analyze, and sequence each event from beginning to end.
Way to work together and put those reading skills into action, Cougars! 🐾📖

Our 8th Grade Career Clusters students had the opportunity to visit the Vulcan Materials rock quarry in Wellford and get an up close look at careers in the aggregates industry!
Students learned how stone, sand, and gravel help build the roads, schools, bridges, homes, and infrastructure we use every day. They also discovered the wide variety of careers available in the industry, including equipment operation, skilled trades, engineering, environmental science, safety, business, and more.
One of the biggest takeaways? There are great career opportunities students can begin right out of high school, with opportunities to earn certifications, continue their education, and grow into higher paying positions.
We love giving our Cougars opportunities to learn about all the different paths available for their futures! 🐾❤️
