Parent Portal is a component of PowerSchool, the district's student information system which tracks grades, attendance, and other demographic information. In order for parents to access the Parent Portal, they will need to follow the Basic Instructions for Parents document located below, or log in using a previous year's established username and password.

 New upgrades allow a parent to view multiple children's information from a single login. Even if you have children at different schools in the district, everything will be in one place for your convenience.

Parents and guardians of students in Spartanburg School District Five are now able to view student progress through PowerSchool, the district's student information system. PowerSchool brings together teachers, students, parents, and administrators in a web-based data system. The PowerSchool Parent Portal may be accessed from anywhere internet access is available. You can find the link on the Berry Shoals Website. The application uses a secure link that encrypts the data to and from the user and is very secure.
 
The Parent Portal allows parents to see the following:
student schedule
student attendance
student grades/assignments in teacher gradebook
comments entered for grades in gradebook.
