Mr. Taylor Deal

  • Working at Beech Springs Intermediate School has been a "full-circle" experience that has allowed me to fulfill my calling in serving others. I began my 8 year teaching career at Beech Springs Intermediate, and served BSIS families until an opportunity arose for an Assistant Principal position.  This is now my seventh year in administration, and third as Principal of Beech Springs Intermediate. It is a privilege to serve in the same district that invested time and energy into making me what I am today.  

     
    Paramount in education is the responsibility we have to serve the "whole" child, enriching the school experience beyond academic achievement. We are responsible for carrying out the school vision to "provide opportunities for students to reach their maximum potential in an engaging, creative and nurturing learning environment". It is my goal to lead our program into developing young learners towards a trajectory that empowers them in a college or career experience. 
     
    Beyond leading at BSIS, my greatest joy is spending time with my wife and two children. Together, we spend time outdoors and like to gain new experiences through travel.
