    Florence Chapel Middle School

     

    Florence Chapel Middle School is located between Greenville and Spartanburg along I-85. Our school serves the educational needs of several small communities including Moore, Reidville, and Duncan. Florence Chapel Middle School prides itself on providing our students with the best education possible and strives to be the best middle school in the state of South Carolina. While here, students not only receive academic support but are given many opportunities to grow socially and emotionally.

    Facilities: Our students attend a modern school facility that is designed to support their learning in all subject areas. Not only do students have access to spacious classrooms but they also have access to a science lab on each hall, a full sized gym, dedicated lab space to both robotics classes but also computer applications, Wi-Fi throughout the building, and our district has a 1:1 technology program.

     

    Academic Program: All students take a core of English, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Students are also able to choose from a variety of exploratory courses to round out their education while at Florence Chapel. Some of the exploratory courses include Career Exploration, Robotics, Computer Applications, Art, Band, Orchestra, and Spanish. Florence Chapel is pleased to offer advanced courses to students who qualify. These advanced courses are Advance ELA, Algebra I and II, English I, and Spanish I. Our goal is to provide students with a well-rounded education that allows them to master required content and to explore areas of personal interest.

     

    Awards and Accomplishments:

    -Our Academic Team placed 1st in the state and 30th in the nation. (2017)

    -Girls Basketball brought home the Peach Tree Conference Championship. (2019, 2017)

    -Undefeated Volleyball season. (2017)

    - Peachtree Conference Champions in Volleyball. (2019)

    - Twenty students named Junior Scholars. (2020)

    -TSA team named best overall chapter. (2017, 2016, 2015, 2014)

    - The Invictus VEX Robotics Team went to the World Championship. (2021, 2018)
