• Wallis

         Miss Wallis taught for 20+ years at the middle and intermediate school level in sixth and fifth grade.  She worked at District Five Schools with the opening of Beech Springs Intermediate before coming to Berry Shoals Intermediate with its opening. Lisa S. Wallis, Assistant Principal, has earned a BA in History and Elementary Education from Rhode Island College. She earned her Master of Education with a Reading Concentration from Stetson University.  She continued her education and received her Administration Certification with coursework from Clemson University.


    Before coming to District Five Schools, Miss Wallis worked in Newport, Rhode Island, Charleston, South Carolina, and DeLand, Florida.  She was selected to “Who’s Who Among American Teachers”, Future Educators of America Teacher of the Month, and Berry Shoals Intermediate School’s 2003 Teacher of the Year.

    She is proud and excited to have found a home in Spartanburg District Five Schools and Berry Shoals Intermediate School, where “We are Focused on Learning!”
