• building Wellford Academy of Science and Technology is a magnet Title I School located in the growing District Five Schools of Spartanburg County.  Wellford currently serves over 400 students in grades 4K through 4th grade.  We believe in the continued growth of all students, and our dedicated staff works hard to ensure their success. 
     
    In addition to classroom instruction, we offer such support as a math coach, reading interventionists, resource and speech classes for Special Education students, and English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program, and a Developmentally Delayed (DD) class.  We also offer 4-year-old Kindergarten to prepare students for early school success.
