What are your favorite memories of Elementary School? Besides special teachers who made learning fun, what stands out in your mind? Class parties? Field trips? School-wide festivals? Don't you want your child to enjoy the same fun experiences?
 
You can make sure these and many other exciting activities are included on the school calendar by joining and being active in the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). 

The PTO is a group of parents, just like you, who want to be involved in their children's elementary school experience. Headed by a volunteer Board of Officers, the members of the PTO work with teachers and school administrators to enhance the school's programs and learning environment. 
 
We do this by organizing a number of fund raising events throughout the school year. These include school dances, the Fall and Spring Festivals, as well as other activities. The whole community is invited to participate, not just those affiliated with the school. The money raised at these events enables the administration to buy additional items and equipment for our kids. In the past, the PTO raised funds which the school used to purchase curtains for the stage, iPads and other classroom technology.
 

The PTO enhances the school program in many ways that don't involve raising money. We are classroom parents, field trip chaperones, speakers for career day, volunteers who plan and manage school events. When the administration needs "people power", they call the PTO!
