The Safety & Emergency Services Department is committed to ensuring the safety of our students, staff, and visitors. Through a proactive approach that includes staff training and partnerships with local first responders, Spartanburg District Five Schools works to ensure our students, staff and visitors to our campuses and events are safe.
Our department oversees district emergency procedures, visitor management systems, student reunification, the SafeSchools Alert anonymous tip program and SafeSchools staff training and compliance. The District has partnered with five law enforcement agencies to provide thirteen school resource officers to provide protection for our school campuses.
