Hi there!  I’m Dione Morris and I am so excited to join the Beech Springs community and family!!  I am a native of Louisiana. My husband Marcus and I are the proud parents of three feisty daughters; Kathryn, Melody, and Olivia.  Here's a little info about me until I get to meet all of you. 

Hey students!  I am a musician at heart.  I play the flute, but my favorite section is low brass.  I can hang with the alto section in chorus, but I probably need to brush up on my viola skills with the orchestra.  I love to cook, read books, play games on my iPad, and spending time with my family.

Don’t worry parents, I have a serious side too.  My background is music, band in particular. I earned my Bachelor of Music degree from Converse College in Spartanburg.  For a change of pace, I attended Webster University in Greenville, SC where I earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.  I loved Converse so much, I returned and earned my Education Specialist degree in administration and supervision. My career in education has spanned 10+ years.  I taught band for 10 years, chorus for 3 years, and orchestra for 2 years. I also served as a technology integration specialist for a year in my previous school district.  I am looking forward to serving you, your children and the Beech Springs community.
