Welcome to 4^th grade! I will be your child’s 4^th grade reading and writing teacher for the 2016-2017 school year. This will be my first year at Abner Creek Academy and I am so excited to get started. I am ready to make this the best year!

I grew up in Greer, South Carolina.  I attended Byrnes High School where I cheered for the Rebels, participated in the school orchestra, and helped with the school yearbook. I graduated from Byrnes High School in 2010. I then attended the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks) where I received a Bachelor’s of Art in Elementary Education. I completed my Masters in Language and Literacy from USC this past spring!

Outside of school, I love to spend time with my family and friends. I have a cat, Mittens, who I take everywhere with me. I enjoy being outside, reading books that take place in the South, and going to the beach!
