District Guidance Mission StatementThe central theme underlying the guidance program in district Five Schools of Spartanburg County is a commitment to the total personal, social, educational, and career development of all students pre-kindergarten through grade twelve. The guidance program will be implemented at each level, consistent with the expected developmental stages of learning. The guidance program components will include the guidance curriculum, individual planning, responsive service, and system support complying with the State regulations which impact comprehensive guidance programs.

The Spartanburg District Five Comprehensive Developmental guidance and Counseling Program is based upon the following beliefs:
