I am looking forward to spending time with your child this year in my class. We are going to be very busy learning 21 st Century Skills in a fun and safe environment. This will be my second year teaching at Abner
Creek Academy but my 26 th year teaching in all. I graduated from Longwood College in 1989 and earned my Master’s Degree in 1999. In 2009, I obtained National Board Certification and in 2016 earned Gifted and Talented endorsement. I have been married for 26 years to my husband, Doug. We have two beautiful, talented daughters: Victoria (Senior) and Sarah-Kate(freshman) who attend Oakbrook Preparatory School. I enjoy cuddling with my two sweet yorkies, running, swimming, coaching soccer, reading mysteries, playing candy crush, and texting my friends.
