Degrees and Certifications:

Jeffrey Lamb, MSChem, NBCT

I am entering my 13th of teaching and 3rd year here at James F. Byrnes High. I am National Board Certified Teacher and hold SC endorsements in Gifted and Talented, AP Chemistry and AP Physics. I've twice been named an Outstanding Science Teacher by the Greenville County Science Teachers Association (2008, 2010). I'm also an adjunct chemistry instructor at Greenville Technical College where I teach College Chemistry 1 & 2 (CHM 110 and 111).

I have obtained a B.A. (1994) and a M.S. in Chemistry (2011) from Clemson University. I also obtained a M.Div. (1998) from the University of Chicago.

My wife and I met at Clemson University long ago in what seems like a galaxy far, far away. She is a chemical engineer, so the dinner conversation at our house is quite "nerdy." We have two wonderful daughters, one in high school and the other in second grade. I come to work each day prepared to deliver to the students I serve, the type of education and dedication that I hope my daughters will experience in their classes.
