Welcome to my teacher homepage! I am a Byrnes alumna and a graduate of the University of South Carolina Upstate. This is my ninth year here at Byrnes, and I am happy to be teaching at "home". I consider it a privilege to teach at one of the finest schools in South Carolina. I am currently teaching English II, and I have previously taught English I, English III, Strategies I & II, and Creative Writing courses as well .
It is my goal as a teacher to equip each of my students with the needed tools to succeed on their educational journey and to motivate them to approach learning as an exciting expedition while inspiring them to make that trip last a lifetime. I look forward to our exciting and successful adventure in English exploration this semester!

We will begin studying The Tragedy of Julius Caesar this week. Students should be reviewing the Act and Scenes covered in class each night as well as completing questions and preparing for Act Quizzes!
